Hello Blog World! I know, I'm such a slacker! Just an update about our little family. Unfortunately no pictures, since our camera was STOLEN last week out of our car! The ONE time I leave it in there(in the glove box) we had someone go thru the car...and of course the ONE time we forget to lock it as well :S
The kiddos started school on August 24th. Zachary is my big bad 5th grader.( Yikes!!! Where did the time go??) and Kelley is going a big (little) 2nd grader! She is so little, but makes up for it with attitude! :) And C.J. doesn't start Kindergarten for another 2 years. BUT, he does get to start his speech therapy soon, and he is excited! Both of the older kids, really like their teachers, and we feel this will be a good year, and that their teachers will be a good match for them!!
In other news, Ryan got a part-time job with Target! Yay for work. It may only be part-time, but part-time, is better than no time. I recently found out I need to have my gallbladder out! I have been pretty sick, and because we have no insurance I have just been playing the waiting game as to when I will actually have the surgery.
That is our update! Hope this finds you all happy and healthy! :)

Summer Time
Well here it is, summer...finally!! It has been so mild here, that we have only gotten up over 80 degrees about 5 times to date. We haven't done much, but we have gone to the zoo, the botanical gardens and camping! I don't have pictures from camping, since I was forgetful and didn't bring the camera :( However, we did go with some friends, and hopefully we can get pictures from them. But, here are a couple of pictures from the zoo and the gardens. We have been able to do these fun things courtesy of the kids' school field trips, they bring home a free family pass after attending with their classes. Lucky for that, otherwise we would be having a VERY boring summer, with Ryan not having a job since Feb. We will be going to a family reunion here in Idaho and then the kids will get to go to Grandma and Grandpa Cardon's for 2 weeks! :) Ryan and I are REALLY looking forward to that! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

OK...I'm such a super duper slacker!!!
YES!! No, your eyes are not deceiving you! I am actually post on my blog! Let's all gasp at the same time shall we?? I just always feel like our life is not very exciting, always doing the same thing over and over again. But, I will post an update for our family: We are still living in Boise Idaho. We still have only 3 kiddos.
Zachary, who is now 10! Yes! We are into double digits! Some of the things going on with him this last year are: He got braces. He got glasses. He is in 4th grade. He earned his Bear badge in cub scouts. He joined choir at school and LOVES it.
Kelley, who is 6 and will be 7 in a little over a month. She cannot wait for her birthday. She is in 1st grade. She is learning lots and is becoming a great reader. She loves to draw and do craft projects. She has lots of friends!
And last but not least is C.J. He turned 3 in October. He loves to play pretend with his big sister. He likes to help mom and dad with laundry, and dishes. But mostly he LOVES Disney's Cars, and his AUNT NICKI!! He has started with speech therapy this last week, and he is already doing amazing! He loves going to "school" with his backpack and to see his teacher. I'm excited to see all the amazing work and improvement with his words and sentences. Still not potty trained, but maybe that will be one of the accomplishments that will happen this year! (crosses fingers AND toes) :)
Ryan and I are plugging along. I started attending Boise State University this past fall (Go Broncos!!!) Right now I'm just getting some of my generals out of the way, while I decide what I really want to do. I am still working part time at Target, in the human resource department. I love what I do! Ryan is still working at the Courtyard by Marriott. We are very grateful for all of these accomplishments that we all have experienced this past year.
I am really hoping that I will be able and wanting to update the blog more often. I have included some pictures of the past year. We hope this finds you all healthy and happy!

Black Friday
Oh I am sooo glad that Black Friday is OVER!! Yes, working in retail, I had to be there, up before the sun even thinks about coming out, and it's freezing outside! However I'm not alone in my journey...there are people that actually get out there at that time because they WANT to!! Crazy in my opinion. I like my sleep, plain and simple. Yes, you can get great deals, but most everything I ever want will still be there when I get off work :) Here are just a few stories of the day from where I work:
One lady went thru a checklane with 6 yes 6 carts full of stuff...her total you might ask? Almost 25oo dollars! And then the other notible mention, and if you are squimish you may want to stop reading right now. A lady in line, had a 6 pack of gaterade, and chugged 3 of them all in a row...no one is quite certain why she did this. We aren't talking the little ones, these were at least the 20oz ones. Well I think we all know what happens when you drink too much way to fast right? Yep you guessed it, she spewed ALLLLLL over the place. Not even asking for a bag, or trashcan or not even stepping out of line and leaning over. She just spewed. All over herself, all over everyone else, merchandise, EVERYWHERE! She not only did this once, but TWICE!!!! So glad I wasn't on the clean up crew for that day! I asked one of the other girls I work with if it was because she didn't want to have to leave her stuff and get out of line to make it to the bathroom, and here is the kicker: She wasn't by herself! She had someone else with her in line that was actually buying the stuff!!!! And, that is why I don't like Black Friday. It kinda makes people crazy and loose sight of all reason. Ok, my rant is over LOL
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We had a quiet one here, and didn't even get to eat turkey. That is tonight. Ryan worked the 3-11 shift at work insted of the graveyard shift so that I could be at work the next day at 4:45am. After that shift I wasn't in the mood to try and do a Thanksgiving dinner, so tonight it is. Better late then never right? :)
I think that about sums up what has been going on, just busy, busy time of year for all of us! Hugs to all!

I'm a slacker!
I know! I know! It's been a while since I've updated the blog. Not much going on, just been busy with work and the kids. Life seems to kinda take control like that. Well, Today is CJ's 2nd Birthday!! I can't believe he is 2! We sure love him, and he always puts a smile on our faces! Happy Birthday Big Boy!

We recently went to Salt Lake for Ryan's brothers wedding. We had lots of fun and it was great to see everyone(although we were sad because some of our family was missing :( ) We got to go to the aquarium that is in Sandy. That was really fun for the kids. Hope this finds you all happy and healthy! Pardon the quality of the pictures, I forgot my camera, and the phone was the best I could do :)

Pictures coming soon....
We had an AWESOME time camping with all our friends! The only thing that was bad about it was the mosquitos! They were horrid. All the kids look like they have the chicken pox from getting bitten so bad. :( We had a huge group and it was tons of fun! So, pictures will be coming soon. I just have to get them off my camera and onto the computer. Should be later today hopefully. Can I say how quiet my house is without my two oldest home right now?? It's crazy, and a little eerie lol Cj is not sure what to think of it yet. He is enjoying the attention he is getting though. Don't know what else to write about, nothing exciting going on in our world, so Hugs to you all!
